Crusader
The germ layers that developed with predominance for the Crusader were the ectoderm and mesoderm. The ectoderm leads to the development of the neural tube (brain and spinal cord), the neural crest and the outer epithelium of the body (the skin). Cardiac and skeletal muscles, smooth muscles, blood vessels, connective tissues, the kidney, heart, viscera and adrenal cortex develop from the mesoderm layer.
Crusaders have a tall and lean physique, an oval face shape with a narrow jaw. They tend to have wider shoulders and longer limbs. They can struggle to gain muscle (especially in the legs), but over time, with the right training and diet, they can shape the upper body well. They easily maintain a slender figure with minimal fat accumulation except for a small amount of belly fat.
The ecto and mesoderm focus areas during development mean that they are highly efficient and productive both physically and mentally. They set daily priorities and tasks to take action according to which will give the best outcomes in line with their goals. They are laser focused on their mission, and will only stop when it is achieved or something more important comes along. This also means that both the brain and muscles need the right fuel – so lots of carbs (glucose for the brain) and protein (for the muscles).
Crusaders have naturally higher levels of dopamine which makes them driven to achieve, and frequently succeed when they require a high level of mental and/or physical work. They are self-determined (without the need for constant praise and feedback), willing to take risks and make large efforts to create their ideas. They will often work from checklists, because ticking items off releases dopamine and creates a positive feedback loop.
Crusaders enjoy a challenge, do well with routine, are dependable, responsible and perceived as intelligent. They are very logical and like working with systems, structure, and tracking their progress. Being surrounded by independent, efficient people is critical – they can often seem too direct, maybe even cold towards others who need more support (or distract them from their mission).
They also possess an insatiable curiosity which feeds their drive for knowledge, and tend to seek out lots of detail and thrive when learning and creating. Because of this, they often rise to high levels in their chosen profession or sport. Competitive and ambitious, Crusaders aim for accuracy in order to be authoritative and correct. Little external motivation is required and they often sacrifice a lot to achieve what is important to them.
They prefer to be in charge of their own situations and are sceptical to accept new ideas without absolute proof.
Physically, Crusaders are the best endurance cardio athletes. This makes them great long distance runners, swimmers or cyclists.
